The Harmony Township Board of Education recognizes the value of public comments on educational issues and the importance of allowing members of the public to express themselves on school matters of community interest.
In order to permit the fair and orderly expression of such comment, the Board shall provide a period or public comment at every regularly scheduled meeting of the Board.
Public participation shall be extended to residents of this district, persons having a legitimate interest in the actions of the Board, persons representing groups in the community or school district, representatives of firms eligible to bid on materials or services solicited by the Board, and employees and pupils of this district, except when the issue addressed by the participant is subject to remediation by an alternate method provided for in policies or contracts of the Board.

Jaclyn Rowbotham - President (2026)
Jaclyn Rowbotham, currently in her second year as a Harmony Township Board Member, has been newly elected to the role of School Board President for 2024. Jackie is a Registered Nurse for over 15 years and holds a Masters Degree in Nursing Administration. She specializes in quality and clinical risk management, knowledge that can be applied to policy, personnel, and education. Mother to three boys and a girl, the family is very active in volunteering and giving back to our community. Jackie chairs the BHS Boys Soccer Booster Club that organizes and facilitates several fundraising and community events. She also was involved with organizing the Harmony 8th Grade Project Graduation for last year's students and parents.
Previous years board accomplishments include implementing social media parent/student education and anti bullying student education.

George Babula - Vice President (2024)
Hi. I'm George Babula and in November of '14 you elected me to the Harmony Township Board of Education. I took my seat in January 2015. My wife, Maureen, and I have been married for 58 years and lived in Harmony for 50 years at the site of the old Harmony school and I have spent most of my life in education, both public and private, as a teacher and an administrator. As I start my last year on the board, I'm looking forward to putting the knowledge I gained on the budget committee to get the best possible education for our children using the monies we have. I have also been legislative chairperson and now am Past President of the Warren County School Board Association. Feel free to contact me any time and thanks for your support.

Nicole Tipton - Member (2024)
Nicole Tipton served as a member of Harmony Township Board of Education from 2009 to 2013, and then rejoined in 2016. She also served as president of the Harmony Township PTA from 2015 to 2019. Nicole has worked in higher education for over twenty years and currently works in advancement services. She resides in Harmony with her husband and three children.

Taryn Clayton - Member (2026)
Taryn Clayton has been a Harmony resident for the past 15 years with her husband Jim and their two children, Allie (5th) and Ryan (1st). Prior to moving to Harmony, Taryn grew up in White Township (BHS Class of 2001). She is a licensed title insurance agent in NJ & PA and has managed a title agency for the last 9 years. Taryn is currently the President of Harmony Township’s PTA and loves working alongside the amazing HTS parents, staff & community. She is looking forward to her 2nd elected term on the Harmony Board of Education.

Ken Koch - Member (2025)
Ken Koch grew up in Harmony and attended Harmony Township School. He has 3 children that also attended Harmony Township School. His wife Debra, is a teacher at Belvidere High School. Prior to becoming a board member, he was part of the Harmony Township Athletic Association for over 25 years. He has been on the HarmonyTownship Board since 2014.

Jamie Sampson - Member (2025)
Jamie Sampson, has been a resident of Harmony Township for over 45 years. He is an ISA Certified Arborist, and is married with 2 children.

Paul Williams - School Board Member (President & Vice President), Certified Board Member, Master Board Member, Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Nominating Committee for Officers of the N.J. Board Association (served twice) and Ethics Committee.

Rebecca Marshall - Member (2024)
Rebecca Marshall moved to Harmony Township in 2020 and has a son in first grade. She is a stay-at-home mom and tries to be as involved in the community as much as time allows. Her husband was recently appointed as the director for the HTAA. Animal lover and advocate, she will stop to help animals in need, especially dogs and cats! This is her first year on the board, and she always strives to make things better.

Lindsay Bezak - Member (2026)
Lindsay Bezak has been a part of the Harmony Township community for 18 years, and she is the parent of an 8th grader, a 7th grader, and a 4th grader at Harmony Township School. She comes from a family of educators and brings over 20 years of her own experience in public education to the Board. Lindsay has a degree in English and Education, with a focus in Elementary and Special Education. She works hard to make a difference in the lives of the children she teaches. Lindsay also supports local community events and volunteers as a youth group mom. She hopes to be a voice for HTS families with a focus on the best interests of their children as she serves the Harmony Township School community.
