Tick Illness

Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Month

May 2023 has been declared
Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Month
by the State of New Jersey.
In 2019 there were 3600 cases of Lyme disease reported in New Jersey,
the third-highest number of cases reported in the nation.
Lyme disease is an under-reported illness, so the number of people
with Lyme disease in the state of New Jersey is likely much higher.
